Skipper

Skipper is available for multiple platforms: Windows (32-bit installer, 32-bit portable edition), Mac OS X (64-bit installer, 64-bit portable edition), and Linux (32-bit portable edition, 64-bit portable edition). If you get the Skipper installer for Windows, a setup wizard will help you quickly install Skipper on your Windows PC. Said setup wizard will give you the chance to choose what components will be installed and select where they will be installed.

Skipper is not free, it is only free to try. When you’re done with the installation and you run the application for the first time, you will be invited to select a license type: activate a 14-day trial license without any limitations; enter and activate an existing license; enable a free license that allows you to view Skipper models but does not allow you to modify, save, or export models. To enable the aforementioned 14-day trial license you must enter a valid email address; a validation code will be sent to that address.

Skipper has a ribbon interface. Buttons for the various features, functions, and settings you can play with are presented at the top of Skipper’s interface, on a ribbon. Two things must be mentioned here. The first one is that the ribbon can be easily hidden out of sight. And the second is that Skipper’s ribbon interface provides support for multiple themes.
